Some of our patients are new to vision therapy programs and we’re happy to educate as well as treat! So, what is vision therapy? Vision therapy is a progressive program that rehabilitates the impairment of an individual’s vision that contributes to a wide variety of seeing and eye conditions.
Throughout the years a wide variety of medical problems that were once incurable are now easily diagnosed and treated. Problems with your vision are not issues that you want to leave unattended for a long time as permanent damage is a threat.
Each patient is offered therapy tailored to their individual needs. There are a variety of methods that our doctors use and we have created a general blueprint that we believe is successful and provides optimum results for our patients. Our physician supervised program offers therapy sessions for 1 hour once a week.
During these sessions, we will cover the exercises and non-surgical procedures that will improve your fundamental visual abilities and skills. We also provide supplemental procedures that can transform how a patient interprets and/or processes visual information. The latter is important as we also focus on learning disabilities that are directly related to vision problems as well.
Are you prepared to make a step in the right direction by receiving the proper vision therapy treatment? Our team at Center for Vision Development is comprised of highly skilled and trained professionals that will assist our patients through every step of the process. We believe in making sure that our clients are well informed and understand each detail of our vision therapy program.
